John T. (Ted) Perry, MD
John T. Perry, MD is a native of Kennesaw and has been practicing advanced venous surgery in Northwest Georgia (Cartersville) since 1985. He graduated magna cum laude from Furman University in 1975 and went on to enter the Medical College of Georgia in 1975. After graduating from the Medical College of Georgia with a degree in medicine, Dr. Perry trained in General Surgery at the University of Mississippi. Following his residency he completed a fellowship in vascular surgery in Jackson, Mississippi at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. In his vascular fellowship, Dr. Perry trained with Dr. Sheshadri Raju, one of the world’s authorities on venous disease and the current president of the American Venous Forum. Dr. Perry has over twenty five years experience in venous surgery, venous ablation and sclerotherapy (vein injections). Dr. Perry also directs the non invasive vascular ultrasound lab in the practice. This testing modality allows the doctor to tailor treatments to each individual patient.
Dr. Perry lives on a small farm in White, GA and enjoys spending his off time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
